Printed on high archival quality smooth paper 310 gsm. To emulate the smooth sanded down surface of the original painting I chose a smoother paper this time rather than the watercolour paper rag I normally use, still, that has a beautiful feel to it.

Comes unframed.

A3 prints will be sent flat, A2 prints will be carefully rolled in a rigid post tube to ensure it arrives in perfect unharmed condition.

The theme of this painting is the simultaneous existence of end/beginning.
When one thing ends, another begins. And all the difficult and beautiful emotions that comes when this happens. The end is never the end, it's always the start of something new. As such the skull is present, representing death. But small birds, which for me is a symbol of transformation, has taken up residence within the empty skull.
