The London Illustration Fair 2016 will feature a dedicated workshops area that will lay host to a top selection of interactive workshops, offering a unique and tailored experience for visitors wishing to try something new. A TWO PIPE PROBLEM

£30 printing workshop, £2.50 to monogram a card (approx. 45 minute session)
Learn the art of the Letterpress with the mighty A Two Pipe Problem. Create your own exclusive print, gaining hands on experience of setting wood type, hand inking & pulling the prints yourself. Alternatively, monogram a Christmas card using ATPP's extensive collection of type.
Bejazzle your bauble with The Big Draw

Drop in on The Big Draw's FREE 'bejazzle your bauble' workshop as the national arts education charity encourages one and all to get crafty this christmas! Don't hold back with the glitter, glue and the room full of crafty supplies as you put your own stamp on our spherical canvases! Enjoy and take your little balls of joy home.
Portfolio sessions with Association of Illustrators

The AOI will be holding two portfolio consultations at the London Illustration Fair this year. Join Fig Taylor and a special guest to share feedback and insights into your portfolio. Groups will be strictly limited to 8 for a 90 minute session, and the price includes your entry into the Fair.
Christmas Bauble Painting with Hello Marilu

£12 (approx. 30-60 min session)
Learn to create your own hand painted ceramic Christmas bauble with Hello Marilu. All materials will be provided and at the end of the workshop you will have your own illustrated bauble that can grace your own Christmas tree or would make the ideal Christmas gift.
Cyanotype printing with Factory Press

Make an original print to take home with the alternative photographic process of Cyanotype Printing. Feel free to bring along your own imagery (anything from buttons to autumn leaves or even your own black and white negatives - A4 or smaller) or borrow some of ours. The possibilities are endless.....

Mini Portraits 101 with Nurbanu Asena

From rounded faces with big noses to big smiles and polka-dot scarfs! This workshop will give you all the basics (101) about drawing mini caricature portraits.
Personalised notebooks while you wait by Wainwright Bookbinding

Watch professional bookbinder, Charlotte Wainwright, setting brass type to foil-block your name or initials in gold onto the cover of a notebook. A range of bespoke hand-stitched books bound in brightly coloured linens and bold African fabrics will be available for personalisation while you wait. Unique Christmas presents for just £10 each!
Bookbinding Workshop with Wainwright Bookbinding

£15 for first book, and £10 for subsequent books
Drop in to a bright and bold bookbinding workshop on Friday evening. Select your own coloured fabrics and threads and sew a simple single-section, soft-back notebook. Finish off by having a name or initials foil-blocked in gold by bookbinder Charlotte Wainwright for that extra bit of bling! Perfect Christmas presents created by you for someone special.
